How's Your Serve?
Written by Karl Ihfe Friday, 28 August 2009
I was talking to a friend the other day about the wonderful Christ hymn found in Philippians 2. It's a beautiful passage that describes how Jesus didn't consider his equality with God as something to be held onto, but rather gave it up to become a servant to us all. Such amazing humility, such an amazing example.
So it got us talking about what kind of servant heart we have. My friend shared with me a statement that had been shared with him, a challenge to consider, and one that I want to give to you. How do you respond to this...
"You find out the kind of servant heart you have when someone treats you like a servant."
