Idea :: Lectio Divina (Mark Love)
I highly recommend using the 'Lectio Divina' method of Bible meditation in your group, once in a while (I wouldn't do it every time, as it can be limiting in some ways.) It's basically a method of helping your group meditate on scripture in a way that comes from the heart more than the head.
Lectio Divina has three advantages over traditional Bible Study: 1. It tends to explore the heart more than the mind. 2. It levels out the participation in a group. It draws out the quieter folks and limits the airtime of the chattier ones. 3. It is a GREAT exercise if you, the leader, have not had time to prepare a lesson for the week.
