Families
In the Family Ministry at University Avenue Church, we believe there is nothing more crucial to our children’s physical, mental and spiritual development than the family in which they are raised. Because of this, we place a high priority on families. Two important facts make up our philosophy on families.
1. We believe that God has the best blueprint for how a family should be built.
2. We are convinced that parents have the most potential to influence their child.
Because of this we strive to design environments to reach and disciple children, students, and adults.
It is our goal to partner with parents to raise spiritual children. For this reason we offer two shared family experiences on Sunday mornings. LIVE is a multimedia production for families birth-fifth grade designed to help parents talk to their children about God throughout the week. Focus is a shared experience for Middle and High School families. Focus is designed to spark discussion among families with teens on what God wants their lives to be.
